Hugh and Helen ..

Brings back great memories when we all listened to Bob and Dolly Dyer ... looking forward to listening to the next 100 episodes ... hopefully 20 plus years like Blue Hills by Gwen Meredith ... reading each of your stories is fun however many older people who are visually impaired are really enjoying listening to your voices tell each story... they asked me to thanks

Nice to hear older people are enjoying listening. That's why one day I will go through all my 90 stories and read them like a podcast.

The music is invented and played by Luke who lives in NSW and also is the audiologist bringing it all together. Thanks Luke!

That's high praise for me Sheryl! I applied for a job with the ABC 3 times in my life butthey thought I had "a good voice for a tap-dancer".

Well, at least it's distinctive.

I wa walking through a shop in a country town one day and I said to my wife "I must get a pair of thongs" and the man behind the counter yelle and pointed: "You're Hugh Lunn! I'd know that voice anywhere!".

Thanks Hugh. Reminded me of Paul Keating describing his early years when he was fiercely defended by females in his household no matter what he did. He claimed it made him "asbestos-proof".

That's a stange phrase "asbestos-proof" I'm not sure what Paul meant.

But it was certainly a big advantage for Ken to have grown up so close o three women.
