Thankfully the French Tennis player could see the wrath in Norm’s eyes and knew Kenny was in for it from his Dad Norm. So he smoothed the accident over by graciously giving the little boy Kenny one of his racquets. Thankfully Kenny put that racquet to good use and became a Champion Tennis player representing and winning for Australia great Tennis Tournaments including Wimbledon.

You are right Sheryl. That’s a real insight — “the French tennis player could see the wrath in Norm’s eyes”.

And thus started a brilliant tennis career. Ken Fletch is one of only 11 tennis players in history to win a calendar year Grand Slam: win all four majors in the one year.
